Literature Review on “Green Consumption”

The economic and social development in our country is facing the harsh reality of the increasing pressure on natural resources and environment. Therefore, accelerating the adjustment of consumption structure and constructing green consumption mode adapted to the situation of our country are inevitable in the process of constructing ecological civilization in our country. In recent years, substantial studies have been made concerning green consumption both at home and abroad, mainly focusing on the concept of green consumption, factors influencing green consumption behavior, the present situation of green consumption and green consumption mode, etc. Based on existing research, this paper analyzes the weakness of the past studies and points out that future research should highlight the multidisciplinary research perspective and perfect the concept of green consumption. Besides, empirical analysis tool should be strengthened in the research to detect the factors influencing green consumption behaviors, investigation and study of the present situation of green consumption should be deepened, and the green consumption mode should be constructed in combination with reality.
