Abstract

By the optical thin section,XRD and chemical analysis methods,the characteristics of the low-grade magnesite are analysised. The ore is high silicon and calcium low-grade magnesite. The technology research and optimization tests were completed by selective grinding,pre-classification,flotation and others for the low-grade magnesite. MgO content of the magnesite concentrate was 46. 28%,its recovery was 67. 97%. Talc-chlorite yield was 91. 99%,its recovery was 94. 58%.
