Abstract
The efficacy of 8 insecticides against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee were tested. The result showed that the efficacy of fipronil protection on leaf was 88.61%, the morality was 80.77%.The efficacy was significantly better than those of the other insecticides. And the efficacy percentages of chlorpyrifos, RH-5849 and monosultap on leaf protection were 78.95%, 76.95% and 75.41%,respectively. The morality percentages were 69.23%,69.23% and 65.38%,respectively, showing good control effect. So the 4 insecticides can substitute for methamidophos.
