Abstract
To study the applicability of FEM in the multifreedom machine tool and the dynamic characteristic of the machine tool, the experimental modal analysis and FEM are used in the vibration analysis of the turningmilling machine tool; then, the dynamic reaction method is used to analyze the relation between the vibration and running of the machine tool. The results show that the FEM is suitable for the structural study in the certain limit, and it is useful for the optimization of the machine tool; in addition, the analysis of the spindle speed on the machine vibration is a perfect guidance to the dynamic study of machine tool.
