Abstract

The microwave assisted technology for extracting the yellow pigment from trollius chinensis bunge was studied,in order to improve extraction rate of the yellow pigment. The optimum conditions of microwave assisted extraction were obtained by the single factor and orthogonal experiments. Results are as follows: anhydrous ethanol is used as extracting solvent, the ratio of material to solvent is 1∶40(g∶mL),microwave power is 600 W,temperature is 60 ℃,and extraction time is 3 min.The yellow pigment yield and the rate of extraction efficiency are 144.7 mg/g and 14.47%respectively for microwave assisted extraction. The microwave assisted extraction, which are better than ethanol extraction, can shorten the extraction time, reduce the consumption of the solvent, improve the yield of the yellow pigment and have no pollution.
