Abstract
Objective To establish a fast detection method for methyl syringate( MYSR) in honey by ultra performance liquid chromatography( UPLC). Methods MYSR in honey was directly extracted with water, and detected by PDA detector after separated with C18 chromatographic column, quantified with external standard calibration method. Results The method showed good linear range between 0. 25 mg / L- 100 mg / L,and the linear regression equation was y = 2. 794 × 104x- 1. 122 × 104( r =0. 999 9). The detection limit of MYSR was 1. 0 mg / kg,limit of quantification was 5. 0 mg / kg. The recoveries of the method at three spiked levels( 5. 0 mg / kg,100. 0 mg / kg,500. 0 mg / kg) were 103. 5%- 108. 5%,RSD was 3. 2%- 4. 7%. Conclusion The method was fast, convenient, sensitive, and was suitable for rapid detection of MYSR in honey.
