Implementation of Data Communications Between Excel and AutoCAD

Abstract

Based on the technology of ActiveX Automation,this paper discusses the method of data communications between Excel and AutoCAD,and explains the implementation of automat-ic drafting with the station coordinates in Excel transmitted to AutoCAD.The method presents a convenient approach to the datamation of batch engineering data stored in Excel.
