Abstract
A novel supramolecular network [Mn(phen)2I2] has been rationally designed and synthesized by hydrothermal method and the structure was characterized with elemental analysis,FT-IR spectrum and X-ray diffractometer. It crystallizes in the Triclinic, space group P1-,with a= 0.92705(19) nm,b= 1.0370 (2) nm,c=1.2775(3) nm,α=77.32(3) °,β=81.26(3) °,γ=70.30(3) °,V=1.1240(4) nm3,Z=2. In the title compound [Mn(phen)2I2],the separated unit cells are constructed into a novel supramolecular network by four types of C-H…I hydrogen-bonded and two kinds of π-π interactions.
