Abstract

With mobile technology development, GPRS is gradually used in power system state monitoring recently. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of GPRS in state monitoring,puts forward a scheme in which GPRS is used for condition monitoring, and illustrates a relevant communication protocol.
