Correction of astigmatism associated with cataract

With the improvement of surgical operation and apparatus in treatment of cataract,the aim of surgery is not to get vision only.More requests have been put forward to improve visual acuity,and the astigmatism before and after surgery can affect naked vision of cataract patients after surgery.More attentions of oculists have been paid to reduce the corneal astigmatism to the lowest after surgery.This article reviews the influencing factors for astigmatism associated with cataract and ways of its correction.
