Abstract

Objective:To determine the effective components of the pine cone of Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litvin to provide the basic data for the future studies of Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litvin. Methods:The water extraction, ethanol extraction and petroleum ether extraction were carried out to extract the effective components from the pine cone of Pinus sylvestris Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litvin by using the ultrasonic wave method. We used the methods of test tube testing, paper chromatography and the thin layer chromatograph(TLC) to determine the effective components. Results:The pine cone of Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litvin contained amino acid, falvonoids, phenyl hydrate, coumarone, anthraquinone, volatile oil and oleic etc.,but protein, alkaloid, glycols, polysaccharide, tannin, organic acid and phytocholesterols failed to be detected. Conclusion:There are some effective components in the pine cone of Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litvin and it is worthy of development and has a great value of utilization.
