Abstract
The Third Generation Poetry is the very production which possesses the real literary historical meaning since the poets become conscious of the sense of language. It is also the strategy of paroding the language adopted by the young poets who are pressed by the great traditional Chinese culture They insist on Poem is poem, hold that the poem is directly name the desire for life and reality of things by means of language. They emphasize the sense of utterance which accords with life, and yet refuse emotions and images so as to enter the existing things and perceptual ways of life by unfolding the language itself. The Third Generation Poetry consciously makes use of the linguistic item to dissolve the humanism and metaphysical feature of the traditional poetry. So we can say that the Third Generation Poetry has its own special doubts and criticism of the post-modernism.
