Abstract
The authentication in an open network is analyzed. To meet increasingly complex authentication requirements, the necessity of taking advantage of multi-cryptosystem to design authentication system is pointed out.The mechanism of authentication and key exchange is researched, and the characteristics of protocols in existence are analyzed.Based on trade-off among security, efficiency and system requirements,a protocol of authentication and key exchange is put forward. The protocol performs distributed authentication, carries out key exchange through integrated utilizing EC key agreement and symmetric key transport.Mutual authentication and explicit key authentication are finished. The protocol can improve the performance of authentication system, and lower its requirements.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
