Abstract
As a new two phase heat transfer heat pipe, pulsating heat pipe has got more and more attention in re-cent years due to its simple structure, low cost, good heat transfer performance and compatibility. The structureand working principle of pulsating heat pipewere introduced in this paper, then the recent research progress ofpulsating heat pipe was reviewed. The influences of pipe diameter, working medium, charging ratio, cross sectionshape, elbow number, dip and heating method on the heat transfer performance of pulsating heat pipe weredis-cussed. Finally the theoretical model of pulsating heat pipe was reviewed and the key problems needing to solvedin the research of pulsating heat pipe were discussed.
