Overview on Remote Meter Reading System with Power Line Carrier

Abstract
Through introducing the development and current situation of automatic meter reading system at home and abroad,the application of power line carrier based on the information technology in automatic meter reading system was illustrated.Aiming at the key technology of power line carrier—communication technology,the principle,composition,function,anti-interference measures of the new remote meter reading system with power line carrier were especially discussed.At last,the prospects for the power line carrier technology were given.
