Abstract
The bamboo growth soil nutrient contents of different Phyllostachys heterocycla forests in Wuyi Mountain were studied.Result shows that Phyllostachys heterocycla mixed forest is beneficial to enhancing soil fertility, increasing organic matter, controlling pests and maintaining long-term productivity of bamboo. The stand density of mixed forest of Phyllostachys heterocycla and Cunninghamia laceolata, mixed forest of Phyllostachys heterocycla broadleaf tree which are denser than that of Phyllostachys heterocycla pure forest increase by 48.9%,54.3% respectively.Mixed forest of Phyllostachys heterocycla and Cunninghamia laceolata which have the optimal growth effect for Phyllostachys heterocycla have the highest stand density, average DBH and new culm yield. The number and diameter of bamboo shoot is affected as the proportion of hardwood in the Phyllostachys heterocycla and broadleaf tree mixed forest;the bamboo biomass which is the highest is increased by 20% than that of the Phyllostachys heterocycla pure forest. The soil organic matter of bamboo and broadleaved mixed forest are higher than that of bamboo and Cunninghamia lanceolata mixed forest bamboo pure forest;total N content became greater, but phosphorus supply is evidently lack.
