Abstract

City enjoys a close connection with the development of culture.Many famous cities in ancient China experienced a long and particular historical development,forming a particular culture of oriental cities.The origin of ancient Chinese cities can trace back to thousands of years ago.The Bionic culture of ancient Chinese cities originated in the notion of an organic dynamic whole of a city merged with heaven,earth and human being.Every city has its own particular character,thus forming a particular cultural atmosphere.Science of sustainable development today is to examine the characteristics of ancient cities.
