Abstract

Objective] To review the clinical and endoscopic features of primary malignant lymphoma of stomach(PGML) and to improve its diagnosis and treatment. [Methods] The general conditions, clinical manifestations biochemical changes and pathological findings were assessed in 31 patients. [Results] In this group, all the patients had upper abdominal pain. Within laboratory examination, hemoglobin were (102.90±26.95) g/L, serum albumin were (33.95±4.23) g/L, all the hepatic and renal function were normal, all of the tumor screening index were negative except the elevation of CA125 in 2 cases. Only 17 cases were diagnosed by gastroscope while HP detecting was positive in all cases. All of the pathologic results were B cell non-hodgkin′s lymphoma. [Conclusions] The gastrointestinal symptom is the main clinical presentation of primary malignant lymphoma of stomach and tumor consumption symptom is not obvious, with low sensitivity of tumor screening index and high infection of HP. The main pathologic type is B cell non-hodgkin′s lymphoma.
