Study on water saving irrigation in Kashigaer river basin

Abstract

Although land resources and sunshine resources of Kashigaer river basin is abundant,but water resources is limited which is not even distribution in time and space.It has an important significance to use new water saving irrigation technology. This paper inquires into feasible and practicable of water saving irrigation in Yingwusitan county irrigation area of Shufu county in Xinjiang,the result indicates that the combination of water saving irrigation and agriculture structure adjustment can obtain better effect of water and increase peasant income in Kashigaer river basin.
