Correspondence of the property-word groups and influencing factors

Previous studies on property-words were mainly limited to syntactic classification,syntactic feature,word-formation,semantic category and so on,lacking quantitative analyses of the inner closed domain.Based on the exhaustive investigation of property-words in Contemporary Chinese Dictionary,this paper specifies the correspondence degree of 96 property-word groups in terms of word number,sense and word meaning.It also elaborates the influencing factors respectively:the factors that influence the word number correspondence are the synonymy and the good inclination;the factors that influence the sense correspondence are the polysemy of monosyllables,different morphemic meanings in word-formation and the unbalanced degree of the meaning extensions;the factors that influence the word meaning correspondence are the word number,the word meanings in antonymous word-formation by analogy and the morphemic meanings in word-formation.
