Abstract
A class of trigonometric Bezier curves with two exponential shape parameters λ and μ is presented in this paper.Analogous to the quadratic Bezier curves, each trigonometric polynomial curve segment is generated by three consecutive control points. This kind of curve possesses most of the properties of the quadratic Bezier curve.By taking the different values of λ and μ,the shape of the curve can be adjusted locally or totally. With increasing of the parameters λ and μ,the curve can approximate the control polygon continuously. Some illustrations of surfaces the shape of which can be modified are presented.
