Abstract

2-Hydroxy-4-acryloyoxythoxy benzophenone was synthesised by the reaction of 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone and 2-chloroethyl acrylat with tetrabutylammonium bromide as phase transfer catalyst. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, materials ratio, amount of catalyst and amount of inhibitor on the synthesis were studied. The proper reaction conditions were as follows:the reaction temperature was110℃;the reaction time was 6h;n(2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone)∶n(2-chloroethyl acrylat)=1∶1.15;n(2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone)∶n(sodium hydroxide)=1∶1.2;the amount of solvent was 40mL;the amount of catalyst was 0.8g,and the amount of inhibitor was 0.6g(based 0.1mol 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone).The yield of 2-hydroxy-4-acryloyoxythoxy benzophenone reached 85.71%.
