Abstract

Philosophy and social sciences are important tools to understand and change the world and important power to promote the development of society and history. It is as necessary as natural sciences for the social development. To develop and prosper philosophy and social sciences is not only the inspiration from historical experience but also the inherent demand of pushing forward reform and opening and modernization in China. The realization of the Three Represents objectively demands the emphasis on the prosperity and development of philosophy and social sciences.
