Electrical Meter Reading System Based on CAN Bus

Abstract

This paper presents a new type of electrical meter reading system based on CAN-bus.In the aspect of CAN-bus feature,it is compared with other transmission modes.The design about the hardware and software of the system are introduced in detail.The real-time operation system is the characteristics of high reliability,strong real-time and high speed of transmission.The sample of this design is being tested and improved in power system.
