Abstract

The content variations of 7 kinds of mineral elements in the adult leaves of different positions during fruit development were analyzed in Cerasus humilis. The results showed that the contents of Cu,Mn,Ca and Mg in different position leaves of the new shoot increased gradually, while the contents of Fe,Zn and K decreased gradually during the fruit development. From lower to upper position leaves, the contents of Cu,Zn,Mn and K increased during the fruit ripening period, while the contents of Fe and Ca decreased gradually, and the content of Mg had no obvious change. Significant positive correlation existed among the variation of Ca contents of different position leaves and between Ca contents and Mn and Mg contents of upper and lower position leaves, while negative correlation existed among the variation of Ca contents in upper-position leaves of the new shoots. It was suggested that the variation of mineral element contents of the upper-position adult leaves in new shoots could indicate the regular pattern of the variation of Ca absorption and accumulation in new shoot leaves.
