To observe clinical therapeutic effect of combination of galvanothermy-acupuncture and pricking-cupping bloodletting method on herpes zoster.

Abstract
Objective:To observe clinical therapeutic effect of combination of galvanothermy-acupuncture and prickingcupping bloodletting method for treatment of herpes zoster.Methods:Ninety-two patients were randoml divided into 2 groups.the treatment group(n=48) Received the combined galvanothermy-acupuncture,and the control group(n=44) received treatment with acupuncture and both were associated with pricking-cupping bloodletting method for 10 days as one course of treatment.The results were evaluated after 10 days treatment.Changes of main symptoms and signs after treatment were investigated in the two groups.Results:The cure rate of the treatment Group was 81.25%,the control Group was 47.73%,After a course of treatment(P0.05).Conclusion:Galvanothermy-acupuncture and pricking-cupping bloodletting method can increase the therapeutic effect,and reduce the course for treatment of herpes zoster.
