Abstract
The terpene lactone content in leaves of Ginkgo biloba from Guizhou was determined by HPLC-ELSD to effectively utilize Ginkgo biloba resources and improve quality of Ginkgo biloba products. The results showed that there was difference in terpene lactone content in leaves of Ginkgo biloba between different producing areas and different picking period, and the terpene lactone content in leaves of Ginkgo biloba picked in September and October was the highest, which indicates that picking period has effect on terpene lactone content in leaves of Ginkgo biloba from Guizhou.
