Abstract
AIM:To apply accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) technique to extract Panax notoginseng saponins and to explore the application of this technique in quality control of Chinese herbs.METHOD:Investigations of single factors was used to optimize the factors that affect the efficiency of ASE extraction of Panax notoginseng by using the content of Panax notoginseng saponins, ginsenoside R b1 and ginsenoside Rg 1 as quantitative markers.RESULT:The best conditions of ASE extraction of Panax notoginseng saponins were obtained as follows:methanol as solvent, particle size between 0.3 and 0.45 mm,temperature at 150 ℃,pressure under 6.895 MPa,15min duration and once extraction.CONCLUSION:ASE technique can be used to extract Panax notoginseng saponins quickly and effectively.
