A literature survey has been conducted to determine the stress-corrosion cracking properties of three high strength steels. The steels of concern are Vascomax 250@ (an 18Ni 0 maraging steel), Almar 362 (a stainless maraging steel), and HP9Ni-4Co-.20C(a quenched and tempered martensitic steel).Other topics included in the survey are hydrogenstress cracking, general corrosion resistance, welding, and a suitable method for cleaning the high strength steels.' ~s t e r i s k indicates values reported were less than the actual toughness.W indicates weld fusion zone: HAZ indicates weld heat-affected zone.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
