Works of Art - A Possibility to Improve BIPV

Abstract

The share of the worldwide BIPV solutions compared to the total PV installations is less than 1%. The purpose of the work is one hand to explain the difficulties of BIPV solutions (special module and system design, higher costs, long project and production time) and on the other hand to show the huge possibilities regarding BIPV solutions as a “work of art”. The marketing effect for BIPV-artefact is tremendous compared to ground mounted or roof topinstallation.
