Abstract In den photosynthetisch aktiven Reaktionszentren aus Rhodospirillum rubrum G‐9 enthält der Mg‐Komplex Bakteriochlorophyll a als Alkoholkomponente Geranylgeraniol, während das metallfreie Bakteriophäophytin a stattdessen Phytol enthält.
