On Cultural Diplomacy of China for Russia

In the course of economic globalization,apart from military political and economic diplomacy between countries,cultural diplomacy increasingly becomes a highlight in international relations.Culture,which is regarded as a new standard to evaluate a country’ s soft power and an effective approach to enhance a country’ s international status and influence,is attached great importance to by many governments.This article analyzed the significance of cultural diplomacy between China and Russia and studied some measures China adopted in cultural diplomacy to consolidate strategic partnership between the two countries.Finally,the article puts forward that the development of cultural diplomacy between the two countries is relatively immature.China’ s cultural diplomacy for Russia still needs improving.
