ANALISIS OF THE RAW WATER NEEDS AND AVAILABILITY IN SUNGAI PENUH CITY

Abstract
The population of Sungai Penuh City in 2011 is 84.357 person. At this time it has deficiency clean water supply for the needs of every day. Because the clean water supply of PDAM is not enough. Therefore it’s need the raw water source as a source of water that can fulfil the needs of clean water for the resident Sungai Penuh City. Batang Merao river is one of the river that can be used as a raw of water source that located in the district of Hamparan Rawang, Kumun Debai, and Tanah Kampung, Sungai Penuh City. To know about supply of debit Batang Merao river 10 (ten) year later can using F.J Mock method. The calculation result for year 2021 supply raw water Batang Merao river is 0.66 m3/sec, can will be supply of Sungai Penuh City year 2021 can supply clean water is 96.366 person, needs of clean water year 2021 is 0.197 m3/sec, supply clean water Batang Merao river can enough needs resident Sungai Penuh City.
