Abstract
An unusual case of a 56-year-old male with carcinosarcoma of the lung containing three malignant mesenchymal elements is reported. The clinical, radiographic, gross, and immunohistochemical findings are presented. The theories addressing the histogenesis of carcinosarcoma are discussed with special emphasis on the findings in this case.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
