Abstract
Effect of seed inoculation of artichoke ( Cynara scolymus ) by different combinations of growth promoting rhizobacteria on the germination and primary growth characteristics was investigated. Different germination characteristics and early growth parameters were measured. Results showed that the highest number of normal plants, radicle and shoot weight, shoot length, vigority, germination percentage and MTG were observed in PP168 + BT. The results showed that either sole or integrated application of P solublizing bacteria along with N fixing bacteria led to significant increase in radicle and shoot length, shoot weight, CVG, SVI, and significant decrease in MTG, respectively.
