Abstract
Varicocele is a common problem in military medicine. Usually it is effectively treated with scrotal support and reassurance. Intravenous pyelography is not indicated as a routine procedure in evaluation, but is indicated if an apparent varicocele is of sudden onset or occurs after the age of 30 years or on the right side.
