융기성 피부섬유육종(dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, DFSP)은 피부 및 피하조직에서 발생하는 악성종양으로 1924 년 Darier 와 Ferrand에 의하여 처음 기술 되었으며, 1925년 Hoffmann에 의하여"dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans"라 고 불려지게 되었다(1).DFSP는 임상적으로 서서히 자라며, 국소 침윤 및 국소 재발을 잘하나 전이는 매우 드물다(2).
