On My Architectonic Drawings

After having painted in an abstract expressionist style, the author turned in 1968 to making precise pen-and-ink drawings on paper. She relates her experiences in Greece and North Africa leading to this change. Her drawings reflect her interest in perspective and architecture. Her work is based on a linear module combined into figures or large-scale compositions of a paradoxical nature. Her discussion is supported by reproductions of a selection of her drawings.
