Lipoma of the Floor of the Mouth; A Case Report.

Abstract

Among the various benign tumors of the oral cavity, Lipoma is rare. A 52-year-old female complained of swelling of the left floor of the mouth. The swelling was the same color as the normal mucosa of the oral floor. This tumor was soft, and we diagnosed it as lipoma with the help of CT scanning. It was resected. The tumor was light yellow, and histopathological examination showed it to be a lipoma.
