Abstract
A microscopical examination of stained films (Leishman or Giemsa) showed numerous P. falciparum parasites and a very scanty crescent infection.The red cell infection rate was approximately I per cent., and the relative numbers of single and multiple infections were :single, 69 per cent.; multiple, 31 per cent.
