Abstract
Three-dimensional seismic techniques are proving to be valuable geophysical exploration tools, especially for field development. A 3-D volume of data allows the generation of traditional vertical seismic sections along any azimuth or direction, resulting in more accurate well placements. This shortens the time between discovery and production and avoids unnecessary drilling in dry areas.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
