Abstract

Fractures of the coracoid process of the scapula are rare in traumatic injuries of the shoulder. A case of isolated fracture of the coracoid process is presented. The subject was a 57-years-old male who fell from a height. Axial roentgenogram showed a displaced fracture of the tip of the coracoid process. Operative treatment was performed. At the last investigation, the fracture had united, and the patient had returned to the occupation he had prior to his injury.
