Abstract

A new kind of floor heating system based on shape-stabilized PCM panels provided hot water by solar energy was put forward. Two-dimensional heat transfer model of floor energy storage is established using the method of enthalpy. This floor energy storage module can complete the process of heat storage and release. Using effect of shape-stabilized PCMS was tested. Indoor air temperature fluctuation decreases 3.5°C compared phase change storage floor heating room to dry floor heating room. Indoor minimum temperature has increased by 2-3°C. Indoor air temperature distribution meet the recommended value about comfort zone parameters. Using of shape-stabilized PCMS combined with solar hot water heating system achieved building load transfer. Nighttime temperature was significantly improved under the condition without use of auxiliary energy, as a supplement of conventional heating, reducing heating energy consumption.
