Abstract

This thesis tries to analyze the language features of Barack Obama’s two inaugural speeches in 2008 and 2012 from the linguistic aspects,including sentence types as well as figures of speech which included imperative sentences,parallelism,rhetorical question,alliteration,hyperbole,simile,metaphor and so on.
