The experimental investigation is carried out on the interaction between a supersonic jet and an inclined plate. The flow field are observed using the schlieren method and the image processing system used a personal computer. The wave phenomena obtained by the supersonic jet impinging on an inclined plate are shown for the experimental conditions. The characteristics of flow field and the influence of an inclined angle and the pressure ratio are discussed in this paper.
