Abstract
This research was performed to explore the changes of hand and foot temperatures and the difference between left and right foot/hand temperature before and after the foot reflexology treatment, which operated 60 minutes session, 2 times a week for 10 weeks. The objects were middle-aged women who complain of frozen hand/foot. The results were as followed: In the foot reflexology group, the left/right hand temperature was increased significantly (p⁄.001) and the temperature difference was decreased significantly (p⁄.001). The left (p⁄.001) and right (p⁄.01) foot temperatures were significantly increased and the temperature difference between left and right foot was decreased significantly (p⁄.001). There was no significant difference found before and after the treatment in control group. A significant difference emerged after the treatment between foot reflexology group and control group.
