Abstract

In this Paper, we create a simulation model in order to evaluate bus priority measures for increasing the level of bus service. The effects of establishment of bus bays, the introduction of bus lanes, and the reduction of bus stop times are evaluated in the model. There are few traffic conditions in which establishment of bus bays and the introduction of bus lanes are effective. On the other hand, there are many traffic conditions in which there is the reduction of bus stop times effectively.
