Abstract

In the first and the second reports of this study, we discussed about “Sense of Impropriety” of clothes which felt in each aggregation of a random and a group arrangement of people composed of two clothes of different kind, through a sensory evaluation experiment by dolls model. In this report, we examined the sense of impropriety of clothes concerning each random arrangement of people with a “Place”. As to the experiment method, we took the photographs of places and dolls into a personal computer, and made synthetic photographs, and carried on experiments the sensory evaluation concerning “Situations” of simulation . As a result, there is a positive effect for the number between a number of dolls as stimulus and the sense of impropriety as well as previous section of this report when the “Place” is added . Next, in comparison with the result of the sense of impropriety of the random arrangement of people in a “Non-place”, there is the clothes which the sense of impropriety becomes high or low depending on being the “Place”, and especially the sense of impropriety for the kimono becomes high. And, when the characteristics of the clothes combination are opposites, the position of evaluation about same “Place” becomes contrastive it among four places. Moreover, with respect to the same clothes, the greatest difference of evaluation for four situations varies according to the combination of clothes. In conclusion, it was found that the sense of impropriety of situation with the “Place” was decided by the number of the aggregation, the kind of places and clothes, and the combination of them .
