Abstract

Summary Cafferty, S. & Jarvis, C. E. (ed.): Typification of Linnaean specific and varietal names in the Orchidaceae. – Taxon 48: 45‐50. 1999. – ISSN 0040‐0262. Lectotypes and epitypes are designated by 6 specialists for 29 out of 30 previously untypified Linnaean plant names pertaining to the family Orchidaceae. These newly proposed types support the current usage of the names concerned. Earlier but ineffective or supersedable type statements are discussed.
