Abstract
臨床化学や免疫血清学の検査では,化学発光法などの新しい測定法が開発され血中の微量物質が精密に定量できるようになった.微生物学検査においてもPCR法やDNAプローブ法などの核酸増幅同定検査が実用化され,保険に収載されている.保険診療の中でこれらの臨床検査を適正に使う方法は,それぞれの診療所や病院,診療科,個々の疾患,医師個人により異なるが,学問的でかつ保険診療上もむだがなく,経済効率がよい使い方を心がけるべきである.日本臨床病理学会では,臨床検査を適正に利用するために,各種疾患における臨床検査の使い方に関するガイドラインを作製しているので,参考にしてもらいたい.
